Our stainless steel bioreactors fermenters are equipped with a top-mounted magnetic drive agitation system that uses a high-torque stainless steel shaft coupling. The magnetic upper drive replaces traditional dynamic mechanical seals, enabling a fully enclosed, contact-free transmission design. This ensures true zero-leakage operation, prevents external air ingress, and eliminates the risk of cross-contamination during long-term cultivation.

The vessel body is manufactured entirely from 316L pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel, featuring a smooth, electropolished interior with no dead corners. This hygienic design ensures complete cleaning and sterilization, supports CIP/SIP procedures, and maintains sterile conditions even during extended fermentation cycles.

By converting the dynamic seal into a static, non-contact magnetic seal, the system completely resolves the contamination challenges commonly found in biological fermentation processes. It is especially suitable for long-duration cultures, low-growth-rate strains, sensitive microorganisms, and non-dominant bacteria that require highly stable and contamination-free environments.
